My Living Budget

My Living Budget answers

Your budget, with fewer question marks.

Straight answers about logging expenses, building savings and getting started.

What is My Living Budget?

My Living Budget is a positive budgeting web app for people from their first paycheck through retirement. Log expenses, compare spending with your plan, and work toward savings goals without a judgmental money coach.

Can I log spending with my voice?

Yes. Record an expense such as ‘six dollars for coffee and eighteen dollars for a ride.’ My Living Budget transcribes it and suggests separate expense entries and categories. Review the amounts, dates and categories before saving. Transcription can make mistakes, especially in noisy surroundings.

Can I scan receipts or upload an Uber or Lyft screenshot?

Yes. Upload a receipt photo or a ride or delivery screenshot from your phone’s gallery. My Living Budget suggests the merchant, amount and budget category. Check the suggestions before saving; blurry images, taxes and tips may need a correction.

Do I need to connect my bank account?

No. You can record expenses by voice, photo or text without a bank login. My Living Budget does not automatically import your bank transactions, so your totals reflect what you record.

Can I change my budget categories?

Yes. Choose your initial categories, then add, rename or delete them on your Budget page. Move uncategorized expenses into the right category, or ask Flo to help create a category that is missing.

How does My Living Budget help with savings?

Set your monthly income and desired savings percentage. My Living Budget calculates a monthly target and suggests small spending swaps. Put extra savings toward an emergency fund first, then consider retirement savings. Suggestions and growth estimates are educational, not personalized investment advice or guaranteed returns.

Can I use My Living Budget on iPhone and Android?

Yes. Open My Living Budget in your browser and add it to your home screen. It is also available in a computer browser. An internet connection is needed for account access, saving entries and AI tools; microphone and photo access depend on your browser permissions.

What are the published plans?

The published plans are a 14-day free trial, $7.99 monthly, $59.99 annually, and $3.99 monthly for Early Career. These are proposed plans displayed on the site; payment checkout is not yet connected.

Will my spending be posted on social media?

No automatic posting. You choose whether to share a win card. Review the card before sharing it so you are comfortable with any amounts it contains.
